About the role
The UAE National Laboratory Technician supports laboratory operations at the Al Maharat campus, preparing equipment and materials, performing procedures, and maintaining safety standards while ensuring accurate documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing.
- Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and coordinate equipment servicing.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control regulations and dispose of waste safely.
- Assist faculty, instructors, and students during laboratory sessions and report equipment malfunctions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
