Land Sport Supervisor

About the role

The Land Sport Supervisor will lead the development and delivery of community and recreation programmes for our luxury hotel guests. Reporting to the department director, you will ensure a vibrant, engaging environment that reflects the brand’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, organise and evaluate a variety of community services, recreation programmes and special events.
• Establish schedules, resource requirements and operational methods for recreation services.
• Participate in setting goals, policies and procedures, and monitor compliance with approved standards.
• Prepare publicity materials, seasonal brochures and coordinate referral systems.
• Identify community needs and recommend appropriate programmes.
• Maintain records, prepare periodic reports and manage the online recreation registration system.
• Supervise special events, negotiate contracts and hire external instructors.
• Serve as liaison on community‑related committees and sub‑committees.
• Handle purchase requisitions, order supplies and support part‑time staff recruitment and training.
• Respond to guest complaints and manage the recreation information desk.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and managing recreation or sports programmes, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities to coordinate events, staff and external partners.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and external committees.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
