Land Surveyor – Building Construction

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Land Surveyor to join our building construction team in Abu Dhabi. You will lead precise land surveys, site measurements, and mapping activities for a variety of construction projects while ensuring compliance with UAE building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive land surveys and site measurements using theodolites, GPS/GNSS, total stations and laser levels.
• Collect, analyse and interpret survey data to produce accurate site maps, boundary determinations and elevation reports.
• Prepare detailed survey reports and technical documentation with CAD and specialised surveying software.
• Establish and verify control points and coordinate systems for construction layouts.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and construction teams to align site preparation with project specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment, perform quality‑control checks and ensure all activities meet UAE regulations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional land‑surveying experience in building construction.
• Diploma or degree in Land Surveying.
• Proven ability to manage multiple surveying projects simultaneously.
• Experience with construction site operations and project management.

Required skills

• Theodolite, GPS/GNSS, total station, laser level operation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble and Leica surveying systems.
• Strong knowledge of coordinate geometry, site layout principles and blueprint interpretation.
• Advanced data collection, analysis and report generation skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
