Landscaper - Groundskeeper

About the role

The resort seeks a reliable Landscaper / Groundskeeper to keep the outdoor areas looking welcoming for guests. You will be responsible for daily upkeep of lawns, flower beds, pathways and other landscape features at the Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the appearance of the resort’s grounds, including lawns, flower beds, fountains and pathways.
• Mow, edge, rake leaves and perform other lawn‑maintenance tasks.
• Water, weed, trim and care for flower beds, baskets and planting boxes.
• Clean, refuel and store all equipment after use.
• Collect and bag trash from exterior bins and keep surrounding areas tidy.
• Maintain fountains, planters and other features by cleaning, repairing or replacing as needed.
• Repair sidewalks, driveways, cart paths and parking areas by filling cracks and holes.
• Operate tractors, trucks or utility vehicles to transport tools and supplies.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies and report any hazards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related landscaping or grounds‑keeping experience.
• Physical ability to stand, walk or sit for an entire shift and lift objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Capability to work on sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces and use ladders safely.
• Willingness to complete safety training and adhere to company procedures.

Required skills

• Lawn maintenance (mowing, edging, raking).
• Trimming and weed removal.
• Cleaning and refuelling of equipment.
• Manual dexterity, bi‑manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
