Lead Data Warehouse Modeler

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Warehouse Modeler to transform complex business information into robust data models that support enterprise‑wide initiatives. The role involves designing conceptual, logical and physical models for data warehouses, data marts, ODS and big‑data platforms. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to implement data strategies that enable BI, machine learning and data science.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain comprehensive data models for data warehouses, data marts, staging areas, ODS and big‑data platforms.
• Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical models and assist DBA teams with implementation.
• Define and govern data‑modeling standards, naming conventions, repository management and documentation.
• Identify architecture, infrastructure and interface requirements for data sources, automated loading tools and security frameworks.
• Collaborate with business and solution teams to build data flows, ensure data quality and support the full DWH/BI lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience in data warehousing, data modeling and big‑data platforms.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and knowledge of 3NF/OLTP and dimensional (OLAP) design.
• Expertise with data‑modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio.
• Proficiency in Power BI and other BI reporting tools.
• Experience with metadata management, data profiling and data‑quality techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
