Lead Engineer Construction – Offshore

About the role

Penspen is seeking a dynamic Lead Engineer Construction – Offshore to lead offshore construction teams on a PMC project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves overseeing installation, hookup, and commissioning of offshore facilities while ensuring safety and project performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation, hookup, and commissioning of platforms, pipelines, and subsea structures.
• Ensure construction activities align with schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Review and approve construction drawings, procedures, and method statements.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce HSE standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline).
• 18‑20+ years of relevant experience, including 5‑8+ years in offshore projects.
• Minimum 5+ years in a similar senior position.
• Experience with top oil & gas operators, PMC/EPC environments, preferably within GCC and ADNOC projects.
