Lead Engineer – Networking

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer – Networking to design, implement, integrate, test, optimise and support secure network infrastructure for large‑scale technical security and surveillance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of secure IP network infrastructures for security and surveillance solutions.
• Develop network solutions meeting operational, cybersecurity, availability, scalability and performance requirements.
• Ensure connectivity and integration between sensors, radars, cameras, VMS, command centres, access control, RF and C4ISR platforms.
• Perform network integration, testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning and acceptance activities.
• Produce network design documents, implementation plans and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, vendors and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, security policies and industry best practices.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and provide technical leadership for issue resolution and system optimisation.
• Support project planning, risk management, technical reviews and customer engagements.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, IT, Telecommunications or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in network engineering, design and implementation.
• Proven experience leading networking activities for large‑scale infrastructure in security, defence or surveillance environments.
