Lead Engineer – Offshore Construction

About the role

Penspen is seeking a dynamic Lead Engineer to manage offshore construction activities for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver offshore platforms, pipelines and subsea structures on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage offshore construction teams, including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation, hookup and commissioning of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines and subsea structures.
• Ensure construction aligns with project schedules, budgets and technical specifications.
• Review and approve construction drawings, procedures and method statements.
• Conduct risk assessments and enforce HSE standards throughout offshore operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (relevant discipline) from an accredited university.
• 18‑20+ years of relevant experience, including 5‑8+ years on offshore projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar lead engineering position.
• Experience with top oil & gas operators, PMC or EPC firms; GCC experience mandatory, preferably ADNOC.
