Lead Faculty – E‑Commerce & Dropshipping

About the role

NextWave is seeking a Lead Faculty to drive the academic and technical standards of its twelve‑week E‑Commerce & Dropshipping programme. You will combine teaching, mentoring, assessment and faculty leadership across three distinct pathways: Dropshipping, Inventory‑Based Store, and Social & Marketplace Commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Set and maintain technical standards across all programme pathways.
• Deliver live sessions, product/store demonstrations and technical clinics.
• Mentor participants throughout the twelve‑week build, providing evidence‑based feedback.
• Assess submissions against published rubrics, maintaining clear audit trails.
• Lead internal verification, sampling and recurring standardisation activities.
• Line‑manage trainers, assessors and mentors, reporting progress, risk and outcomes to the Program Director.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, management or a closely related discipline, plus a Bachelor’s degree.
• At least six years of professional e‑commerce experience and people‑development experience.
• Minimum three years of hands‑on e‑commerce operation with demonstrable commercial results.
• Recognised teaching qualification with assessment and internal quality‑assurance capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Shopify, WooCommerce or Amazon Seller Central.
• Experience in supplier sourcing and vetting.
• Strong understanding of unit economics, pricing and paid acquisition.
• Ability to conduct funnel analysis.
