Lead Field Engineer – Emerging Talent Program

About the role

Join Baker Hughes as a Lead Field Engineer in our Emerging Talent Program, a 36‑month development pathway for recent graduates. You will work on‑site with customers, acting as the key interface between client teams and our on‑site crews, ensuring equipment is installed, maintained and started correctly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with crew members to deploy tools and services, liaising with customers and shore‑based Operations Managers.
• Participate in solving complex technical problems through hands‑on work at rig sites.
• Prepare, document, and manage inbound and outbound equipment and products for well sites.
• Support tender processes, including data analysis, cost estimates and invoicing activities.
• Engage in job‑shadowing opportunities to develop a holistic understanding of the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geosciences or a related field obtained within the last 36 months.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
• Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
• Legally entitled to work in the United Arab Emirates without sponsorship.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation and ability to guide others.
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, numerical, data‑analysis and project‑management abilities.
