Lead Interior Designer - Hospitality

About the role

A hospitality-focused design studio in Dubai is looking for a Lead Interior Designer to lead the design of luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants and F&B venues, from concept through to completion. The studio is open to candidates in Dubai or willing to relocate.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-end hospitality projects from concept to completion
• Produce innovative, functional design concepts aligned with client briefs and operator brand standards
• Take ownership of design quality, reviewing the team's work at key stages
• Manage project timelines, deliverables and coordination with internal teams and external consultants
• Oversee detailed drawings, specifications, FF&E schedules and presentations
• Lead concept and client presentations and build relationships with clients, operators and brand teams
• Mentor and guide junior and intermediate designers
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers so design intent is maintained through to delivery

Required profile

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in interior design, focused on hospitality projects
• Portfolio showing luxury hotel, resort, restaurant or F&B design work
• Previous GCC experience, ideally in Dubai, with knowledge of the local market and approval processes
• Experience with international hotel brands and operators is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Required skills

• Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
• Rendering tools such as 3ds Max or V-Ray
• Materials, finishes, FF&E selection, bespoke joinery and technical detailing
• Communication, presentation and leadership skills
