Lead Piping Designer (Offshore)

About the role

Lead Piping Designer (Offshore) – KBR seeks an experienced professional to lead piping design activities for offshore oil & gas projects, covering concept, FEED and detailed engineering, with regular travel to ADNOC offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Independently produce piping design drawings for concept, FEED and detail engineering phases.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards and project specifications.
• Maintain engineering integrity, quality assurance and document control for all piping deliverables.
• Develop complex piping designs, equipment layouts, plot plans and general arrangement drawings using 3D software such as E3D, SP3D or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Conduct site visits to collect field data, verify installations and support construction activities, including as‑built documentation.
• Review vendor drawings and provide comments to ensure compatibility with overall design.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 + years of offshore piping design experience in concept, FEED and detail engineering, with EPCM background in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience with ADNOC and Qatar Energies projects, including brownfield and offshore facilities.
• Diploma or ITI in Piping and Mechanical Design.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D design tools such as PDMS, E3D, SP3D and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
