Lead Planning Engineer -PMC

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Lead Planning Engineer for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees project planning, scheduling, cost control and risk management across all project phases, ensuring safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery in line with ADNOC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools, monitor progress and analyse variances.
• Track budgets, commitments and forecasts, prepare cost reports, cash‑flow forecasts and earned value analyses.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, KPIs and dashboards for management review.
• Identify and assess project risks, maintain risk registers and support mitigation planning.
• Analyze manpower, equipment and material requirements, monitor resource utilisation and optimise allocation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients, and provide accurate performance insights.
• Maintain project control records, ensure compliance with company policies and support audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• 18+ years of experience in project controls, planning, scheduling or cost control, preferably in EPC projects for oil & gas or infrastructure.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI‑SP, CCP are advantageous.
