Lead Product Service Engineer - Controls Platform HMI and Network

About the role

The Lead Product Service Engineer – Controls Platform HMI & Network provides direct technical support to GE Vernova Gas Power customers worldwide. The role handles complex power‑plant control system issues, HMI platforms, network and cyber‑security investigations, and communicates technical guidance through webinars, conferences and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical resolution of complex Controls system issues across Mark VI/VIe, HMI platforms, industrial communication interfaces and cyber‑security at power plants.
• Identify trending issues, develop counter‑measures and disseminate alerts (TILs, PSxBs, ETCs, OnTheGo, etc.).
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, Regional Customer Engineering Centers, Manufacturing, Sourcing, vendors and customers to deliver timely solutions.
• Drive root‑cause analyses and corrective actions while communicating outcomes internally and to end customers.
• Promote GE Vernova Way traits, lean principles and simplification in daily activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HMI platforms, industrial communication interfaces, historians and industrial cyber‑security at power plants.
• Proven customer‑facing experience with strong oral and written English communication.
• Willingness to travel 10‑15% regionally and work under pressure to resolve technical problems.
