Lead Static Engineer – PMC

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Lead Static Engineer with a proven track record in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of static equipment, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance for a high‑profile client in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for all mechanical static equipment design and ensure compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate and monitor static equipment design and engineering with EPC contractors, delivering within project time‑frames.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables from consultants and contractors, guaranteeing quality and adherence to specifications.
• Participate in equipment sizing, selection, layout, model and design reviews, and support installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong technical team skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of international codes, standards and ADNOC requirements.

Required skills

• Mechanical static equipment design.
• Proficiency with engineering computer programs (e.g., CAD).
• Knowledge of international codes and standards, particularly ADNOC.
• Equipment sizing and selection expertise.
