Leader, Systems Engineering

About the role

Cisco is seeking a Leader of Systems Engineering to drive its Solution Engineering team in the UAE. You will shape architectural strategy across AI, GenAI, cloud‑native, software, open‑source, cybersecurity and data‑center technologies, ensuring Cisco’s portfolio meets the evolving digital transformation needs of customers in the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing Solution Engineering team.
• Define and drive the architecture vision for AI, GenAI, mobility, software and data‑center solutions.
• Engage with customers and partners to design innovative, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, product and engineering teams to align solutions with market demands.
• Promote technical enablement and thought leadership across the region.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Proven leadership experience in Solution Engineering or technical leadership roles.
• Strong architectural vision and hands‑on experience with modern technologies.
• Excellent people and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
