Learning & Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager to support a leading bank’s vision and strategy by designing and delivering effective upskilling initiatives. The role will partner with senior leaders to close capability gaps and drive a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Identify organizational capability and behavioural gaps and recommend targeted L&D solutions to Group Heads and Senior Management.
• Design, develop and execute the annual L&D roadmap using a mix of classroom, e‑learning and external vendor programmes.
• Align learning content with the bank’s strategic objectives, regulatory changes and Emiratization goals.
• Manage external vendors, negotiate contracts and ensure delivery meets learning objectives.
• Evaluate ROI of L&D initiatives, maintain dashboards and report on impact.
• Oversee mandatory training compliance and ensure engaging delivery.
• Deploy and manage learning platforms to create personalized learning journeys with high adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Business Management, Commerce or Human Resources.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the banking sector.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence organisational learning strategy.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and Emiratization initiatives.
