Learning & Development Manager

About the role

The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the organization’s learning and development strategy. The role leads the design and delivery of training initiatives that strengthen employee capabilities, leadership effectiveness, service excellence, and organizational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual L&D strategy and training plan aligned with organisational objectives.
• Conduct organisation‑wide training needs analyses and translate findings into targeted development programmes.
• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of induction, technical, behavioural, leadership and service‑excellence training.
• Manage Forbes training and compliance initiatives, ensuring service standards are understood and applied.
• Partner with managers to support performance management, talent development and succession planning.
• Ensure mandatory training and compliance programmes are completed on time and maintain accurate records.
• Lead the L&D team, manage external providers, budgets and stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of professional experience in Learning & Development, HR or Talent Development with management responsibility.
• Proven experience designing and implementing organisation‑wide L&D strategies and evaluating their business impact.
• Experience managing Forbes training and compliance, preferably in a luxury hospitality or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education or related field; professional certification (CIPD, SHRM, ATD) is an advantage.
