Lecturer in Arabic Language

About the role

Ajman University’s Department of Languages and Culture is seeking a full‑time Lecturer in Arabic Language to start in Spring 2026. The successful candidate will join a dynamic academic team dedicated to high‑quality teaching, student success, and cultural engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Arabic language skills, public speaking, writing, and Arabic for non‑native speakers.
• Design and deliver engaging, outcome‑based classes using modern teaching methodologies.
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to curriculum development, accreditation documentation, and continuous course improvement.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and academic events.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Linguistics, Arabic Literature, or Applied Linguistics (PhD preferred).
• Demonstrated university‑level teaching experience.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and modern pedagogical approaches.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
