Legal Affairs Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Legal Affairs Manager to lead our legal operations across a fully remote team in the United Arab Emirates. The role combines legal expertise with commercial awareness to support the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal affairs strategies, policies, governance frameworks and risk‑management standards.
• Provide practical legal advice to senior management on commercial, corporate, regulatory, contractual, employment and operational matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, memoranda of understanding, confidentiality and service agreements.
• Identify legal and commercial risks in contracts and recommend mitigation measures.
• Maintain contract‑review procedures, approval workflows, legal templates, contract registers and obligation trackers.
• Monitor contractual obligations, renewal dates, termination rights and compliance milestones throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Coordinate with external counsel and ensure the organization’s interests are protected in disputes and negotiations.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior legal professional with proven experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and dispute management.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate legal risk into business‑friendly recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder leadership and negotiation skills.
