Legal Counsel – Arabic Speaker (Dubai)

About the role

Our client, a leading IT manufacturing company in the UAE, is seeking an Arabic‑speaking Legal Counsel to join its Dubai team. The role will provide legal support across commercial, corporate, technology, regulatory and operational matters for both local and international operations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts, NDAs, reseller, supplier, cloud and technology service agreements.
• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, employment, compliance, procurement and operational issues.
• Support contract lifecycle management and ensure alignment with company risk policies.
• Advise on intellectual property protection for software, hardware, trade secrets and proprietary technologies.
• Manage legal risks related to international transactions, procurement projects and government tenders.
• Assist with disputes, claims management and coordination of external counsel when required.
• Provide legal support for corporate governance, board resolutions and regulatory filings.
• Help business teams structure transactions while balancing commercial objectives and legal risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial legal practice, preferably within technology, IT, telecommunications, cloud, cybersecurity or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE commercial and corporate laws.
• Experience supporting multinational operations and cross‑border transactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
