Associate Director, CFCC - Governance

About the role

The Associate Director, CFCC Governance will lead myZoi's financial crime compliance governance framework, providing second‑line oversight, monitoring, testing, reporting and regulatory engagement. Reporting to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), the role ensures that financial crime risk is effectively governed across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the annual compliance monitoring and testing plan, run quarterly testing cycles and thematic reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement of FCC policy and standards, ensuring alignment with UAE law, CBUAE requirements, SVF regulations and Federal Decree‑Law No. 10 of 2025.
• Provide strategic advisory to the business on financial crime laws, regulations and standards, and challenge activities outside risk appetite.
• Oversee remediation of regulatory findings, internal audit issues and ensure root‑cause remediation is effective.
• Prepare accurate management information for the MLRO, Executive Risk Committee and Board, and coordinate audits with Internal Audit.

Required profile

• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of experience in financial crime compliance, risk management or related regulatory functions.
• Deep knowledge of UAE financial crime regulations, CBUAE expectations and the Federal Decree‑Law No. 10 of 2025.
