Legal Counsel – Civil & Commercial Law (Dubai)

About the role

Al Ramsy Advocates and Legal Consultancy is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join its Dubai office. You will provide comprehensive legal advice across civil, commercial, corporate and contractual matters, supporting both internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on civil, commercial, corporate and contractual issues.
• Handle and support civil and commercial litigation, disputes, claims and legal proceedings.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, legal notices and memoranda.
• Prepare and review pleadings, statements of claim and defence, and other litigation documents.
• Analyze legal issues, assess risks and propose practical solutions.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on UAE laws and regulations.
• Represent and support clients during negotiations, settlements, mediation and other dispute‑resolution processes.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, courts and other stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience in the United Arab Emirates.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Law, litigation, commercial law and contract law.
• Proven experience handling civil and commercial disputes.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is highly advantageous.
• Relevant UAE legal qualification or professional licensing, where applicable.
