About the role
This is a junior Legal Counsel position within a global asset and investment manager based in Abu Dhabi. The role supports a high‑performing team handling multi‑million and multi‑billion dollar deals across the globe.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with a top‑tier team of legal, risk, compliance and investment professionals worldwide.
- Support all internal business units on legal and governance matters.
- Provide corporate support and assist in transactional deals.
- Manage relationships with co‑investors, partnerships, overseas offices and external counsel.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) and Common Law qualification.
- Experience in a sophisticated financial‑services market such as London, New York or Singapore.
- Background at a top‑tier law firm (White‑shoe or Magic Circle); in‑house experience is a plus.
- Strong blend of commercial, corporate operations and governance knowledge; transactional deal experience helpful.
- Preference for candidates currently based in the Gulf, though overseas applications are welcome.
