Legal Counsel

About the role

Support the Legal team across day‑to‑day commercial contracting, product and platform initiatives, regulatory and compliance matters, and broader legal risk management for a fast‑moving, regulated banking and investment platform.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline and negotiate NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS/tech contracts, marketing and partnership agreements.
• Assist with product and commercial legal support for exchange/OTC and platform initiatives, reviewing product flows, new feature launches and customer‑facing terms.
• Maintain and update customer terms, platform terms, OTC agreements, risk disclosures and privacy notices.
• Provide first‑pass legal review for cross‑functional requests from Compliance, Product, Operations, Finance and Sales.
• Coordinate regulatory and compliance responses, prepare supporting material and track deliverables.
• Conduct legal research on crypto/fintech regulatory developments, cross‑border issues and sanctions/AML queries.
• Manage contract lifecycle hygiene by maintaining trackers, monitoring renewal dates and organising document repositories.
• Support disputes and risk management by compiling facts, reviewing correspondence and liaising with external counsel.
• Assist with light‑touch corporate housekeeping, including entity documentation and board paperwork coordination.

Required profile

• 1–4 years post‑qualification legal experience, preferably with prior in‑house work.
• Demonstrable experience in crypto, virtual assets, fintech or financial services.
• Exposure to crypto exchanges, digital‑asset platforms or regulated fintech businesses.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in jurisdictions such as UAE, EU, Türkiye, Pakistan, Malaysia or Indonesia.
• Ability to work closely with Compliance, Product, Operations, Finance and Sales teams.
