Legal Counsel – Medical Device Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our leading medical device company in Dubai. The role provides strategic legal guidance to senior leadership and the Board, ensuring that the business operates within a robust legal and regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal advisor to executive leadership and the Board on complex, high‑impact matters.
• Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of major commercial agreements and strategic transactions.
• Oversee enterprise‑wide legal risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage high‑stakes disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
• Support M&A activity, joint ventures, and corporate structuring initiatives.
• Develop and maintain internal policies, contractual standards, and governance procedures.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise on business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (an MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors.
• Proven experience in contract management, legal advisory, corporate governance, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic.
• Availability for face‑to‑face interviews in Dubai.
