Legal Counsel – Regulatory (Fintech, ADGM)

About the role

Our client, a well‑funded fintech operating under the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) framework, is seeking a Legal Counsel with deep regulatory expertise to help shape its legal and compliance foundations ahead of launch.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regulatory and legal infrastructure aligned with ADGM and FSRA requirements.
• Provide day‑to‑day advice on commercial contracts, partnership agreements and other legal matters.
• Monitor changes in the ADGM regulatory landscape and advise senior leadership on compliance implications.
• Liaise with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) and other relevant bodies.
• Support the business as a generalist, handling a broad range of legal issues in a fast‑moving environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of regulatory experience within the ADGM.
• Deep familiarity with the ADGM regulatory framework and FSRA rules.
• Strong commercial and contract law capability.
• Ability to operate as a generalist in a pre‑launch, high‑growth setting.
• Current residence in Abu Dhabi with the right to work.
