Legal Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a talented Legal Operations Specialist to join our Legal team in Dubai. You will report directly to the META General Counsel and work on a hybrid schedule in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Support legal entity management across META entities, maintaining statutory records, filings, and governance documentation.
• Assist with board and shareholder matters, preparing resolutions, powers of attorney, minutes, and corporate documentation.
• Manage corporate licensing processes, renewals, and regulatory submissions to ensure compliance.
• Track deadlines, filings, and regulatory obligations, proactively escalating risks.
• Manage and optimise legal department workflows, trackers, and reporting tools.
• Support implementation, adoption, and maintenance of legal technology platforms, contract management tools, and knowledge repositories.
• Coordinate cross‑functional engagement between legal, compliance, finance, and business teams.
• Provide administrative coordination support to META legal leadership, including preparation of presentations, reports, dashboards, and leadership materials.
• Assist with onboarding of external counsel and vendor coordination.
• Support budget tracking, invoice coordination, and documentation related to legal spend.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in legal operations or corporate governance support roles, with at least 4 years in the UAE.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Experience working with legal documentation, records, and workflows.
• Background in multinational corporations or international law firms is preferred.
• Familiarity with legal technology tools and contract/document management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and stakeholder coordination skills.
