About the role
The Legal Specialist is responsible for overseeing the legal function and ensuring compliance with regional and industry regulations across all business locations.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and communicate compliance policies and procedures, providing training where needed.
- Manage crisis situations and regulatory breaches, informing senior management and ensuring rapid remediation.
- Monitor risk‑based compliance activities, produce reports for top management, and advise on material compliance issues.
- Maintain relationships with external lawyers, track changes in local laws, and handle litigations on behalf of the organization.
Required profile
- 8‑10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- 3‑year diploma (mandatory) and a bachelor’s degree (desirable); relevant professional certification required.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and ownership mindset.
Required skills
- Advanced written and oral communication in English.
