Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Line Maintenance

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to perform line maintenance, defect rectification and routine servicing of Airbus and Boeing aircraft at its Dubai hub.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in compliance with manufacturer and safety procedures.
• Ensure all work follows the latest approved technical publications, technical notices and engineering manuals.
• Handle off‑aircraft tasks such as spares handling, robberies and hold items in line with company procedures.
• Determine tool and equipment serviceability, use specialised tooling where required and perform cost‑effective troubleshooting.
• Perform component changes according to AMM, IPC or other manufacturer documentation.
• Maintain clean work areas, adhere to safety rules and report deficiencies through the company’s reporting tools.
• Communicate effectively with managers and senior engineers to highlight operational issues.
• Participate in performance reviews, goal setting and training to meet CAR 145 requirements.

Required profile

• Licensed Aircraft Engineer (TE.03 or TE.02) with a degree/honours in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence.
• Minimum 8–10 years of engineering experience, including at least 2–5 years as certifying staff.
• Approved for at least two aircraft types, with one being an Emirates type (A380, A350 or B777).
• Valid GCAA, UK CAA or EASA licence (or eligible for conversion) and fully conversant with air legislation and international maintenance standards.
