Lifeguard – Guest Safety & Ride Operations

About the role

This guest‑facing position ensures the safety and smooth experience of all visitors at our water and ride attractions. The Lifeguard monitors water areas, operates rides, and responds swiftly to emergencies while maintaining high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Watch water areas, respond to emergencies, and provide basic life support.
• Operate rides, slides, and attractions according to manufacturer and department procedures.
• Maintain rescue and basic life support competencies at test‑ready levels.
• Move furniture, ride vehicles, and equipment as required.
• Work at heights, in water, and in extreme temperatures year‑round.
• Follow all safety guidelines, SOPs, and dispatch protocols.
• Provide clear directions and instructions to guests.

Required profile

• Vision 20/25 (corrected or uncorrected).
• Swim at least 50 m nonstop using front crawl or breaststroke.
• Underwater swim to 1.4 m depth for 3 m and retrieve a 10‑lb brick.
• Basic spoken English proficiency.
• Willingness to work nights, evenings, and holidays.
• Friendly demeanor and ability to work in a culturally diverse team.

Required skills

• International Lifeguard Training Program certification or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
• Proficient swimming skills (front crawl, breaststroke).
• Underwater retrieval technique.
