Lifeguard – Swimming Pool Safety Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, self‑motivated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests in our swimming area. You will monitor pool activities, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean, well‑functioning aquatic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Caution swimmers about unsafe areas and enforce pool rules.
• Rescue swimmers in distress and provide first‑aid treatment until emergency services arrive.
• Test and record chlorine and pH levels using a water‑testing kit.
• Maintain pool cleanliness, temperature, and deck safety.
• Ensure sun loungers and umbrellas are clean, correctly positioned, and securely fastened.
• Assist in organizing swimming meets and provide swimming instruction.
• Maintain knowledge of club facilities, timings, promotions, and pricing.

Required profile

• Professional swimmer with a qualified lifeguard certification.
• Diploma or university degree, preferably with hotel‑industry experience.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours outdoors.
• Good command of English and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑focused, able to handle complaints and work under pressure.
• Team player comfortable in a multicultural environment.
