Lifting Engineer

About the role

Innovo Group is seeking a qualified Lifting Engineer to design, plan and supervise lifting operations across its projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role ensures that all lifting activities are executed safely, efficiently and in full compliance with technical and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed lifting plans and method statements for each project.
• Select appropriate lifting equipment that meets project specifications.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all lifting operations.
• Coordinate closely with site teams, lifting supervisors and other stakeholders.
• Verify that all lifting crew members hold valid certifications and maintain competency.
• Monitor ongoing lifting activities to ensure continuous safety compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years (60 months) experience in lifting operations.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE lifting regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with lifting planning software.
• Understanding of UAE lifting regulations.
