Lobby Host / Hostess – Guest Reception at Luxury Resort

About the role

Join Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort as a Lobby Host/Hostess and be the first friendly face that welcomes guests to a world‑class luxury experience. You will ensure every arrival and departure is handled with warmth, efficiency and the signature Anantara hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and bid farewell to all guests in a traditional manner as defined by operating procedures.
• Assist guests with resort activity enquiries and coordinate transportation, including buggy, seaplane and airport transfers.
• Maintain high standards of guest service in the reception area and ensure welcome beverages, towels and departure expressions are stocked.
• Gather guest feedback on resort services and trigger appropriate actions to maximise satisfaction.
• Handle difficult situations in line with resort policies and communicate complaints or compliments to the Front Office Manager.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests’ belongings and adhere to all organisational policies.
• Actively promote spa, food & beverage outlets and excursions through upselling.

Required profile

• Friendly, warm personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest issues.
• Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of resort transportation coordination.
