Logistics Manager – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead planning, coordination and execution of all logistics activities for large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment and workforce access from mobilisation through hand‑over. The role works closely with project directors, engineers, contractors, utility authorities and other stakeholders to develop integrated logistics strategies that minimise disruption and support safe, efficient project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Logistics Management Plan aligned with the construction programme.
• Plan and coordinate site access, material deliveries, equipment movements, storage areas and temporary facilities.
• Manage traffic‑management plans, construction access permits and temporary road networks in collaboration with authorities.
• Monitor logistics schedules, resolve delivery constraints and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Identify logistics‑related risks, enforce HSE and environmental compliance, and support emergency response planning.
• Prepare logistics schedules, progress reports, risk registers and KPI dashboards; lead the logistics team and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of logistics management experience on major infrastructure or construction projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven track record coordinating with government authorities, utility providers, contractors and suppliers.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem‑solving abilities with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
