About the role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Professional to manage and optimise our shipment and customs processes in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating both local and international freight, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting continuous improvement of logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate local and international shipments, handling import and export activities.
- Prepare and review shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, suppliers and internal departments to guarantee timely delivery.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
- Apply Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR, DAP, DDP, FCA) correctly in all transactions.
- Maintain accurate logistics records, reports and shipment files.
- Identify and implement process improvements for cost‑effective logistics operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of logistics, supply chain or freight coordination experience within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping terms.
- Excellent communication, coordination and follow‑up abilities.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
