Logistics & Shipment Coordinator – Defense & Aerospace

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking a Logistics & Shipment Coordinator to manage delivery scheduling, documentation control, and material handling within its aerospace and defense manufacturing environment in Abu Dhabi. This hands‑on position ensures shipments reach customers and subcontractors on time while complying with strict regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate delivery schedules two weeks in advance and track shipments to customers and subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
• Control and retain all shipping documentation, including EPI invoices, in line with document‑control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
• Manage loading and unloading of trucks, pack materials to quality and safety standards, and move parts across the shop floor safely.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent experience in logistics.
• 5‑10 years of logistics operations experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or oil & gas.
• Proficiency with SAP and solid MS Office skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities with suppliers, customers, and forwarders.
• Ability to handle multiple shipments under pressure and knowledge of shipping regulations.
