Logistics, Shipping & Fleet Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics, Shipping & Fleet Coordinator ensures smooth movement of goods and effective management of company vehicles. This role combines freight coordination, inventory control, and facility services to support retail and warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Contact shipping and freight companies to obtain quotations, book shipments and record shipping costs in the system.
• Arrange shipment insurance with insurers and generate corresponding insurance bills.
• Monitor near‑expiry items across locations, coordinating pull‑out and rotation with warehouse and retail teams.
• Submit fuel expenses for all company vehicles (ADNOC).
• Coordinate pest‑control services for shops, the warehouse and the office.
• Check the condition of company vehicles, monitor service schedules and flag maintenance or repair needs.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in freight/shipping coordination, logistics operations or a similar multi‑responsibility admin role.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or trading environments with regular import shipments (sea/air) is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE freight forwarders, insurance providers and local market practices.

Required skills

• Experience requesting freight quotations and booking sea or air shipments; knowledge of shipping terms such as CPT and FOB.
• Working knowledge of Zoho Inventory and Zoho Expenses (or comparable accounting software) for creating shipping, insurance and fuel bills.
• Valid UAE driving licence for vehicle checks and coordination with service centres.
