Logistics Specialist – Arabic Speaking Required

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist with strong Arabic communication skills to manage all import and export activities in the UAE. The role ensures seamless shipment handling, accurate documentation, and compliance with local and international trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers for import shipments from origin to UAE ports.
• Verify and prepare import/export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, HS codes, MSDS, COO, SASO, and MOFA.
• Track vessel ETA, container status, and mitigate demurrage or detention risks.
• Manage export orders, arrange bookings, and ensure compliance with destination country requirements.
• Negotiate freight rates, review freight and customs invoices, and monitor additional costs.
• Maintain organized records and a database of approved logistics vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in UAE import/export procedures.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
