Logistics Specialist – UAE National

About the role

Hilti's Sub-Region Gulf Logistics team is looking for a Logistics Specialist who is a UAE national with a family book. This is a broad, flexible role built around your strengths, experience and development potential, covering logistics operations, warehouse and transport performance, import/export coordination, data and reporting, supplier management, customer service and continuous improvement. Depending on your interests, the focus can develop across logistics operations, analytics, supplier and 3PL management, customer experience, Lean improvement, digitalization or project work.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day logistics activities across warehouse, transport, inventory, import/export, reverse logistics and order fulfilment.
• Coordinate with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor shipments, operational transactions, documentation and system data, following up on exceptions and open actions.
• Track service, quality, productivity, inventory and cost indicators and support corrective actions.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Materials Management, Finance and other teams.
• Support Lean improvement, digitalization, reporting and data-analysis initiatives.
• Take ownership of assigned topics and communicate progress, risks and priorities clearly.

Required profile

• UAE national with a family book.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, analytics, customer service, projects or process improvement.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities; willing to learn and take ownership.

Required skills

• Good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• SAP or other ERP exposure is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in working with data.
