Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor supports daily operational duties at an Amazon delivery station in Sharjah, deputising for the Operations Manager when needed. The role focuses on safety, performance, and continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to meet and exceed operational KPIs.
• Monitor and coach coordinator and associate performance, partnering with supporting departments to improve processes.
• Communicate expectations to delivery service providers and raise quality standards.
• Interview candidates for associate roles and manage onboarding.
• Brief and monitor workload of drivers and associates, ensuring accurate administrative completion.
• Measure, track and report daily metrics and site performance to the Operations Manager.
• Train and mentor new associates, resolving process‑related issues as they arise.
• Provide flexible shift coverage, including overtime, and assist with resourcing, performance management and productivity monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field.
• Experience planning, using performance metrics and driving process improvement.
• Proven experience managing teams in a logistics environment.
