Logistics Supervisor

About the role

A client of Talent Bridge HR Consultancy is looking for a Logistics Supervisor in Dubai to oversee daily logistics, warehouse, fleet and dispatch operations. The role suits a hands-on professional who coordinates people, processes, inventory movement, delivery schedules and documentation accurately and quickly, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound operations, maintaining service standards, supporting cost control and supervising a team across warehouse, transport and distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, delivery coordination and returns.
• Plan and monitor delivery schedules so goods move on time and accurately.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams, drivers, suppliers, customers and internal departments.
• Monitor inventory movement, stock accuracy and documentation for all logistics activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards and UAE logistics requirements.
• Track fleet usage, driver performance, route efficiency and delivery completion.
• Resolve operational delays, delivery issues, damaged goods and customer service escalations.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports for management review.
• Support process improvements to reduce delays, costs, errors and bottlenecks.
• Train, guide and supervise logistics staff to maintain productivity and service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply chain operations.
• Previous supervisory experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport or delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, inventory, dispatch and delivery coordination processes.
• Good knowledge of UAE logistics operations, routes, documentation and supplier coordination.
• Ability to manage teams, drivers and warehouse staff under daily operational pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours when operational needs require it; UAE logistics experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and logistics or inventory management systems.
• Strong communication, organisation, reporting and problem-solving skills.
