Loom Operator

About the role

Al Mulla Group is looking for a skilled Loom Operator to join its manufacturing team in Fujairah. The role focuses on maintaining a smooth production flow, ensuring high‑quality woven fabrics, and supporting overall plant efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate industrial looms according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Set up, calibrate and adjust looms to achieve optimal performance.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues and escalate complex problems.
• Monitor fabric quality, detecting yarn breaks, tension issues or pattern defects.
• Record machine performance, output and maintenance activities accurately.
• Load and unload warp beams and fabric rolls as required.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production targets.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on experience as a Loom Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Familiarity with industrial looms such as 6‑shuttle Lohia or Starlinger models.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical schematics or manuals.
• Attention to detail for quality control and defect detection.
• Basic literacy and numeracy for recording production data.
• Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends.
