M365 Engineer

About the role

The M365 Engineer will handle complex technical issues, design and implement solutions for optimal performance, and lead escalations from lower support tiers. The role requires deep expertise across the Microsoft 365 suite and a focus on compliance and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day administration, monitoring and support of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Defender and Entra Identity.
• Administer Azure AD and on‑premises AD, handling user/computer identities, roles, permissions, SSO, MFA and PIM.
• Configure and maintain security features such as Conditional Access, Identity Protection, DLP, data classification and IRM, ensuring tenant secure score stays within acceptable range.
• Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell scripts and oversee monthly patches, upgrades and new feature roll‑outs.
• Execute M365 migrations, tenant consolidations and evaluate new Microsoft 365 capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑8 years of relevant experience with Microsoft 365 services.
• Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related field and Microsoft Certified: Administrator Expert (MS‑102) preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude toward business challenges.
