Maintenance Coordinator – Restaurant Operations

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities across one of its restaurant venues in Dubai. The role ensures that all facilities, equipment and technical systems are kept to a high standard, supporting smooth restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance and urgent repairs, across guest areas, kitchens, storage and back‑of‑house facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections, respond promptly to maintenance requests, and prioritize work to minimise service disruption.
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers, arrange site visits, obtain quotations and ensure timely completion of works.
• Manage servicing and repairs for kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, maintaining accurate service records.
• Maintain documentation of work orders, service schedules, supplies and expenditure, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Coordinator, Facilities Coordinator or similar role, preferably within restaurants or hospitality.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Practical problem‑solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to urgent issues.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

• Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance.
• Experience with refrigeration systems.
• Understanding of HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with electrical and plumbing maintenance.
