About the role
The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience. This role supports the dining floor by managing reservations, queues, and guest inquiries.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests, confirm reservations, and escort them to tables while maintaining an organized seating chart.
- Handle phone and online reservations, update the reservation system, and communicate wait times.
- Respond to guest inquiries, address concerns, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness of reception areas and collaborate with servers and kitchen staff.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer‑service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required skills
- Proficiency with reservation systems.
- Basic computer applications.
