About the role
The Making Links Asia University Programme is a paid work‑experience opportunity for first‑year law students from under‑represented backgrounds, based in Linklaters' Dubai office. It aims to develop commercial fluency, technical legal skills and confidence in English.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in interactive webinars and online learning sessions delivered regionally from January to June.
- Engage in one‑on‑one coaching sessions with senior lawyers.
- Complete a paid work‑experience placement in the Dubai office.
- Attend local office activities and build a professional network.
Required profile
- Native Arabic‑speaking first‑year law student.
- Under‑represented background and commitment to a career in commercial law.
- Consistently strong academic performance.
Required skills
- Proficiency in written and oral English for professional use.
What we offer
- Paid work‑experience placement in Dubai.
- Two‑week salary sponsorship paid at the start of the placement.
