Mall Manager – Community Mall & Retail Portfolio

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Mall Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our community malls and retail portfolio in Al Ain. The successful candidate will manage tenant relationships, drive leasing activities, and support the development of new mall projects, ensuring the overall success and profitability of the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily mall operations to ensure a smooth and positive experience for tenants and customers.
• Establish budgets, set leasing rates, and define performance KPIs to meet financial targets.
• Liaise with existing tenants, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships.
• Identify and secure new tenants for vacant spaces, negotiating lease agreements that benefit both parties.
• Collaborate with the development team on new mall projects, providing input on design and feasibility studies.
• Develop and implement strategies for tenant acquisition and retention.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.
• Prepare and present performance reports and improvement recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mall management, retail real‑estate development, or a similar role.
• Proven track record of managing malls or retail properties, securing tenants and negotiating leases.
• Strong understanding of the retail industry, market trends and competitor dynamics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
