Management Accountant / Financial Accountant

About the role

i9 SoftTech, a digital solutions and consulting company based in Al Nahda 2, Dubai, is hiring a full-time, on-site Management Accountant / Financial Accountant / Accounts & Finance Manager. The role supports i9 Education Australia and covers day-to-day accounting, financial operations, payroll, reconciliations, taxation, compliance and management reporting. The package is AED 5,500 to 7,500 depending on qualifications and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage invoices, income, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payments across multiple entities
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, employee expenses, loans, assets, leases, insurance, collections, rent and rates
• Use accounting software and ERP solutions, preferably MYOB Acumatica, to keep accurate financial records
• Oversee payroll processing, employee entitlements and payroll reporting for a large workforce, and guide staff on payroll and financial processes
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports, including profit and loss statements, budgets and operational analysis
• Present financial progress reports in management meetings
• Handle Australian accounting and taxation requirements where possible: GST, PAYG and payroll tax, superannuation, Single Touch Payroll (STP), WorkCover, end-of-financial-year reporting and information for Australian tax agents

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance, or equivalent; general business degrees such as BBA or MBA are not considered
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Currently residing in the UAE with a valid UAE residence visa; willingness to relocate closer to the office is an advantage
• Experience with Australian accounting and taxation is preferred

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of accounting software and ERP solutions, preferably MYOB Acumatica
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• High accuracy, attention to detail, clear communication and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
