Manager Advanced Manufacturing Engineering

About the role

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Busbar EMEA is responsible for the AME agenda of the Busbar product line across the EMEA region, primarily in RAK (UAE) and Burnfoot (Ireland). Reporting to the AME Director EMEA, the role leads industrialisation strategy, manufacturing readiness, technology roadmap and cross‑site execution to support product launches and long‑term competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the AME function for Busbar across RAK and Burnfoot, owning priorities, standards and roadmap.
• Own NPDI readiness, ensuring new products and changes are launched with full manufacturing preparedness.
• Coordinate prototype, pilot and pre‑production activities, preparing processes, tooling, fixtures and test capabilities.
• Drive design‑for‑manufacture and design‑for‑assembly reviews and standardise methods, layouts and documentation across sites.
• Develop and execute the automation and digitalisation roadmap, evaluating tooling, equipment and process technologies.
• Lead capacity planning, localisation and CAPEX justification for industrialisation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, industrialisation, NPDI, automation and CAPEX execution.
• Proven experience managing cross‑functional projects in a matrix organisation and delivering launch readiness.
